I liked the Timeless Portrait Designer Series Paper and this week's Stamping 411 challenge so much that I had a hard time deciding which set of papers to use yesterday. So today a did another one. This time I turned it on it's side. I love how these two papers are the same design, only different colors. The Fabulous Florets stamp set seemed to fit right in. For this flower, I used the Stampin' Markers to color on the rubber stamp and then "huffed" on it to keep be sure it was moist before stamping,
The words caught my attention today. It rained here most of the day (lots of fun with a couped up 3 and 5 year old! - although they did manage to get wet and dirty!). It has rained here at least once a week for the last 3 weeks. After months of no rain, it's very welcome and my flowers are blooming more now than they did all summer, the grass is greener.....and so are the weeds! It is almost as if the earth is truly laughing with flowers! Although the daffodils aren't up, so I do expect some more cold weather. These days in the 70's won't last, I'm sure.....
Hope you're day was wonderful and you find time to stamp and relax. Don't forget this is Sale-a-Bration and a great time to get free items and have a girl's night out! (or ask the guys along, many of them are great stampers! Hint: When husbands enjoy and appreciate you're stamping projects, they are less likely to object when you buy more!)
Happy Stamping!
