It's been a few days since I posted. During that time, I've been to a wonderful Ladies' Retreat with my church. For one of the projecs we did, we wheeled and stamped and punched owls and butterflies and birds and flowers ( I LOVE Stampin' Up's punches!) to decorate the front of bags for the church to use. I FORGOT to take pictures when we were finished with the bags, so can't show you - trust me, they were cute.
Then, on Sunday, one of my wonderful grandsons put some unidentifiable object in their upstairs bathroom and it got flushed. They figured this out a while later when water was running out of the bathroom and down to the first floor. Luckily, most of the damage is over the garage, but still, they spent the day pulling up carpet, taking out insulation and sheetrock. I spent it taking care of those little darlings so they wouldn't step on nails or fall through open spaces! Sunday was Rodeo Sunday at our church, so that kept them busy for a few hours! Needless to say, I've been busy!
THIS project is from a class planner that Monica Weaver over at www.addalittledazzle.com sells. It uses metal sheets (that she also sells - for MUCH cheaper than the local hobby store!). I thought I couldn't wait, when I thought I was doing this on Sunday afternoon, so I bought some from the local store before I left town. I'll order hers the next time I get this desire! This is a bookmark; the book marker part is a jumbo paperclip I found at the local office supply store. It's about 4 inches long altogether.
Over the next few days, I'll show some other projects I made using the techniques I learned from Monica. If you're interested, you'll need to have the following supplies from Stampin' Up!: The Big Shot, the Fun Flowers Bigz L DIe, the Vintage Wallpaper Impressions Folder, Sanding Block, Thick Window Sheets, Stampin' Dimensionals, Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets. For some of my projects, I used different Bigz DIes and Impression Folders. You can buy all of these from my Stampin' Up! store by clicking on the button to the left and following the links.
There are also some items you'll need from local sources, such as the mirror on this project. If you'd like the full instructions, you can buy the class on-line from Monica at the above site or let me know and I'll plan a local hands on class.
Happy Stamping! - Creating?!?
